He attempts to release him with a throughball, and Clint Speirs runs on to the ball.  Clint Speirs reaches the byline and tries a cutback, the ball falling to Mick Vernor.  Mick Vernor attempts to shoot the ball into the top of the net...and Mick Vernor scores!  That's an excellent goal from the Man Utd player!  The keeper couldn't get near the ball!
