9' - Danny George chips a long ball to David Ainsley.  David Ainsley curls in a cross, and manages to find Eddie McAllen.  Eddie McAllen tries to hit the ball past the keeper...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Dave Sharper is first to the ball and makes the clearance.

13' - Davie Carnegie passes the ball to Lewis Sinton.  Lewis Sinton slides the ball to Davie Carnegie.  Davie Carnegie attempts a shot from long range...but its wide!

30' - Basingstoke attempt a quick counter attack.  Dave Sharper passes a long ball to Michael Sheehy.  Michael Sheehy spots a run from Ewan Graham.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Ewan Graham is able to take the ball.  Ewan Graham hits a shot towards goal...but the shot is offtarget!

32' - Danny George sees a run from Eddie McAllen.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

36' - Dave Sharper plays a short pass to Ewan Graham.  Ewan Graham finds Lewis Sinton with a long pass.  John McPhillips tackles Lewis Sinton and takes the ball.  Southend attempt a quick counter attack.  John McPhillips looks to shoot from distance into the top of the net...but the shot is saved by the keeper!  

42' - Ian Greenway passes a long ball to Adam MacAuley.  Adam MacAuley spots a run from Rich Lane.  He attempts a quick throughball, and Rich Lane takes the ball.  Rich Lane tries to cutback, but the keeper, Jonathan Jones, manages to get to the ball first!  

45' - Mel Griffith dispossesses Davie Carnegie and the ball goes loose.  Seth Cody hits the ball long to John McPhillips.  John McPhillips attempts to use his skills to beat Jordan Gam.  He sends his opponent the wrong way and takes the ball forward!  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Southend kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

51' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Michael Sheehy is going to be taken off.  Eric Burns is going to be brought on.  

51' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Adam MacAuley will come off.  Paul Meikle is brought on from the bench.  

54' - Ewan Graham plays the ball to Davie Carnegie.  Davie Carnegie attempts to shoot from distance into the corner of the net...but Danny George manages to stop the shot!
