Ian Handyside tries to strike the ball into the top of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Anthony Priddy is first to the ball and makes the clearance.

42' - With a turn of pace, Tim Gubay beats Philip MacMasters.  

44' - Tim Gubay finds Mason Denoon with a short pass.  Mason Denoon sees a run from Tim Davis.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Tim Davis is able to take the ball.  Tim Davis shoots...and Tim Davis scores!  That's a tremendous goal from the Salford player!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but couldn't stop the shot!

45' - Newport kick the ball off for the restart.  

46' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Salford kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

52' - Mason Denoon plays the ball to Neil Moran.  Neil Moran passes to Ian Handyside.  Ian Handyside passes to Sammy Cart.  Sammy Cart passes a long ball to Mason Denoon.  Harvey Landon successfully tackles Mason Denoon and takes the ball.  Harvey Landon finds Hugh Chancellor with a short pass.  Dave Kinnie dispossesses Hugh Chancellor and gains possession for his team.  Salford attempt a quick counter attack.  Dave Kinnie attempts to speed past Philip MacMasters, but is brought down.  That will be a freekick for Salford.  

57' - Tim Gubay attempts to shoot from distance into the corner of the net...but Ewan Fitzsimmons stops the shot!  He can't hold it though...Dave Kinnie is first to the ball...Dave Kinnie looks to shoot the ball into the top of the net...but the shot is tipped over the crossbar by Ewan Fitzsimmons!  That will be a corner for  Salford.  Ian Handyside will take the corner.  He curls the ball into the box, and manages to find Charles Wynne.  Charles Wynne gets his head to the ball towards the top corner...but Ewan Fitzsimmons stops the shot!  

57' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like David McClanahan is going to be taken off.  Rhys Garmon is going to be brought on.  

59' - Ewan Fitzsimmons passes to Anthony Priddy.  Anthony Priddy brings the ball forward, outpacing Charles Wynne.  

61' - Tim Davis crosses the ball into the box, finding Dave Kinnie.  Dave Kinnie directs a powerful header hoping to beat Ewan Fitzsimmons...and Dave Kinnie scores!  That's a superb goal from the Salford player!  The ball rebounded in off the post!

74' - Oliver MacBride spots a run from Jeremy Prichard.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Jeremy Prichard is able to take the ball.  Jeremy Prichard attempts to hit the ball past the keeper...but its wide!

76' - Vincent Meaney passes the ball to Tim Davis.  Tim Davis speeds past Theo Coughlan.  

80' - Tim Davis finds Rhys Garmon with a long pass.  Rhys Garmon crosses the ball, finding Charles Wynne.  Charles Wynne gets his head to the ball towards goal...but Ewan Fitzsimmons stops the shot!  He can't hold it though...Tim Gubay gets to the ball first...Tim Gubay attempts to place the ball past the keeper...and Tim Gubay scores!  That's a good goal from the Salford player!  The ball flew past the helpless goalkeeper!

80' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Jeremy Prichard is going to be taken off.  Joe Dempster is brought on from the bench.  

80' - Newport kick the ball off for the restart.  

81' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Hugh Chancellor is going to be taken off.  Bob Fannon joins the game from the bench.  

82' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Chris Spade is going to be taken off.  Craig East is going to be brought on.
