He curves the ball into the box, but the ball misses everyone.  

40' - William Ferris finds Jonathan Cure with a long pass.  Jonathan Cure sees a run from Sam Flanagan.  He attempts to play him through with a quick ball, and Sam Flanagan is able to take the ball.  Sam Flanagan tries to cutback and is able to find William Ferris.  William Ferris tries to strike the ball into the top of the net...but the shot is deflected out of play by the keeper!  That will be a corner for  Maidstone.  Rhys Hare places the ball to take the corner.  He sends the ball into the box, and manages to find William Ferris.  William Ferris heads the ball down towards the bottom corner...and its in! It's a good goal from William Ferris for Maidstone!  The ball flew past the helpless goalkeeper!
