31' - Jim McClennen plays the ball to Michael Dooyum.  Michael Dooyum sees Vincent Edmund making a run.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, but Vincent Edmund has strayed offside!  

34' - Gus Bate finds Paul Regan with a short pass.  Paul Regan takes the ball past William MacLean with a turn of pace.  

34' - Paul Regan curls in a cross, but he only manages to find opposing player Charles Meyrick.  

45' - Henry Devin hits the ball long to Tobias Dolan.  Tobias Dolan passes the ball to Dom McFarland.  Dom McFarland spots a run from Gus Bate.  He tries to release him with a throughball, and Gus Bate is able to take the ball.  Gus Bate fires a shot...but the shot is offtarget!

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

48' - Rob McCleese tries to beat Gus Bate using his ball skills, and manages to slip past his opponent!  

49' - Rob McCleese crosses the ball, and manages to find Jim McClennen.  Gus Bate impedes Jim McClennen.  The referee blows his whistle and points to the spot!  Vincent Edmund steps up to take the penalty.  He attempts  to strike the ball into the top corner...and its in! It's a good goal from Vincent Edmund for Atherton!  The shot hit the upright on the way in.  The keeper had no chance!

50' - Rochdale kick the ball off for the restart.  

51' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Vincent McBride will come off.  Michael Sommer joins the game from the bench.

Gus Bate attempts a shot towards goal...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  Roy Seward is first to the loose ball...Roy Seward hits a shot, aiming for the corner of the net...and Roy Seward scores!  That's a beautiful goal from the Rochdale player!  The ball flew into the corner of the net!

84' - Bruce Rees finds James Owen with a short pass.  James Owen passes to Ethan Davies.  Gus Bate tackles Ethan Davies and gains possession for his team.  Rochdale try to launch a quick counter attack.  Gus Bate brings the ball forward, outpacing Michael Sommer.

96' - Brendan McQuilkin slides the ball to Michael Scully.  Michael Scully tries to use ball skills to beat William MacLean.  He sends his opponent the wrong way and takes the ball forward!  

101' - James Owen hits the ball long to Jim McClennen.  Jim McClennen attempts to outskill Martyn Llandinam and succeeds, deftly slipping past the opposing player!  

102' - Jim McClennen spots a run from Vincent Edmund.  He attempts a quick throughball, and Vincent Edmund is able to take the ball.  Vincent Edmund takes a shot towards goal...but the shot is saved by the keeper!
