He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Alex Mitchell is able to control the ball.  Alex Mitchell looks to slide the ball past the keeper...but the shot is tipped around the post by Gavin McColloch!  The linesman signals its a corner for Partick Thistle.  David Lindsay gets ready to take the corner.  He hits the ball into the box, finding Barry McAlpine.  Barry McAlpine jumps up to head the ball down towards the bottom corner...but the keeper dives and manages to stop the shot!  

41' - Sam McSpadden plays a short pass to David Lindsay.  David Lindsay plays a long pass to Charles MacKechnie.  Charles MacKechnie sees Henry McCallen making a run.  He attempts to play a throughball, and Henry McCallen is able to take the ball.  Henry McCallen tries to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Darryl Stackpoole manages to clear the ball for the defending team.

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

45' - The Spartans kick the ball off for the restart.  

51' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Gareth McLain will come off.  Douglas Matthew is brought on from the bench.  

53' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Charles MacKechnie is going to be taken off.  Adam Ready joins the game from the bench.

66' - Andy Arnott plays a short pass to Douglas Matthew.  Douglas Matthew passes the ball to David Lindsay.  David Lindsay tries to use ball skills to beat David Clapperton and succeeds, neatly slipping past the opposing player!  

67' - David Lindsay takes the ball past Gavin McWhinnie with a turn of pace.  

68' - David Lindsay curls in a cross, finding Alex Mitchell.  Charles MacTavish fouls Alex Mitchell...and the referee immediately blows his whistle - its a penalty!  Alex Mitchell will take the penalty.  He tries  to hit the ball into the bottom corner...and Alex Mitchell scores!  That's a nice goal from the Partick Thistle player!  The keeper dived the right way but could not reach the ball!

69' - The Spartans kick the ball off for the restart.  

74' - James Neagle looks to shoot from distance into the corner of the net...but the ball flies wide of the post!

78' - There is going to be a subsitution.  James Neagle is going to be taken off.  Rob McWatters joins the game from the bench.  

84' - Charles MacTavish finds David Clapperton with a long ball.  David Clapperton whips in a cross, but opposing player Ed MacLeay takes possession.
