Welcome to Borough Briggs in Elgin, Scotland where Elgin City will face Alloa.  This is a group stage match of the League Cup.  The attendance is 4500.

1' - Elgin City kick the ball off for the start of the game.  

5' - Peter McRobbie whips in a cross, finding Andy McSwain.  Andy McSwain heads the ball towards the top corner...but the keeper manages to tip the shot over the crossbar!  That will be a corner for  Alloa.  Hugh Drummond will take the corner.  He whips the ball into the box, and manages to find George Ormonde.  George Ormonde jumps up to head the ball towards goal...but Martin Law manages to stop the shot!  

9' - Martin Law chips a long ball to Sid MacLachlan.  Sid MacLachlan plays the ball to Joseph Dolan.  Gareth Devin tackles Joseph Dolan and the ball goes loose.  Gavin McGraw sees Eddie McElligott making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but Eddie McElligott is caught offside!  

18' - Hamish McCallister spots a run from George Egerton.  He attempts to play him through with a quick ball, and George Egerton takes the ball.  George Egerton hits a shot...but the shot goes wide!

19' - Martin Law sees a run from Sid MacLachlan.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

23' - Eddie McElligott plays a long pass to Gareth Devin.  Gareth Devin slides the ball to George Egerton.  George Egerton crosses the ball into the box, but opposing player Hugh Reece takes possession.  

33' - Eddie McElligott sees Andy McSwain making a run.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, but Andy McSwain has strayed offside!  

40' - Duncan McCall passes the ball to Gavin McGraw.  Gavin McGraw plays the ball to Eddie McElligott.  Eddie McElligott speeds past Jim MacKillop.  

42' - Eddie McElligott tries to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Eddie McElligott gets to the ball first...Eddie McElligott attempts to strike the ball into the top of the net...and its in! It's a tremendous goal from Eddie McElligott for Alloa!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but it wasn't enough!

43' - Elgin City kick the ball off for the restart.  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Alloa kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

48' - Gavin McGraw passes the ball to George Ormonde.  George Ormonde slides the ball to Gareth Devin.  Gareth Devin plays the ball to Gavin McGraw.  Gavin McGraw sees Andy McSwain making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but Andy McSwain  is unable to take the ball down!  

51' - Peter McRobbie successfully tackles Frank McCaw and takes the ball.  Alloa attempt to counter.  Peter McRobbie passes the ball to Hugh Drummond.  Hugh Drummond slides the ball to George Ormonde.  George Ormonde hits a shot from outside the area towards goal...but Martin Law manages to stop the shot!  

52' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Josh Burns will come off.  Felix Murdoch is brought on from the bench.  

53' - There is going to be a subsitution.  George Ormonde is going to be taken off.  Marcus Irwin is going to be brought on.  

54' - There is going to be a subsitution.  David Audsley is going to be taken off.  Eric McDonald joins the game from the bench.  

56' - Gavin McGraw passes to Marcus Irwin.  Marcus Irwin speeds past Felix Murdoch.

62' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Sid MacLachlan is going to be taken off.  John Wilson is going to be brought on.  

66' - Hugh Burns crosses the ball into the box, and manages to find John Wilson.  John Wilson jumps up and gets his head to the ball towards goal...but the shot sails over the bar!

72' - Robert McAlpine crosses the ball, but he only manages to find opposing player Eric McDonald.  

73' - Eddie McElligott looks to hit a long range shot...but Martin Law manages to stop the shot!  

76' - Alloa try to launch a quick counter attack.  Eddie McElligott speeds past Joseph Dolan.  

84' - Eric McDonald plays a long pass to Hugh Reece.  Hugh Reece passes to Adam Corson.  Adam Corson whips in a cross, but Eddie McElligott intercepts and makes a clearance.  

90' - Jamie McCosh chips a long ball to Hamish McCallister.  John Wilson successfully tackles Hamish McCallister and the ball goes loose.  Eddie McElligott passes to Andy McSwain.  Andy McSwain attempts to beat Eric McDonald using his skills, and manages to dribble past his opponent!  

91' - The referee blows the whistle for full time.
