He attempts to play him through with a quick ball, and Brian McCaskey takes the ball.  Brian McCaskey hits a shot...but the shot is saved by the keeper!

13' - Daniel Morris passes to Rob McCaskey.  Ronald McCamish successfully tackles Rob McCaskey and takes possession.  Daniel Morris dispossesses Ronald McCamish and takes possession.  Montrose attempt a quick counter attack.  Daniel Morris passes to Pat MacMichael.  Pat MacMichael sees David McNish making a run.  He tries to release him with a throughball, but David McNish has strayed offside!

Ron Donnelly successfully tackles Pat MacMichael and takes possession.  Ron Donnelly plays a short pass to Joseph Mone.  Joseph Mone strikes the ball from distance...but its wide!

19' - Brin McBay spots a run from Bruce McCausland.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, but Bruce McCausland is unable to control the ball!  

29' - East Fife attempt to counter.  Alexander Marshall hits the ball long to Ken Murray.  Ken Murray sees a run from Brian McCaskey.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, and Brian McCaskey is able to control the ball.  Brian McCaskey reaches the byline and attempts a cutback, but Tom MacPhee is unable to latch on to the ball and it goes loose!  Ronald McCamish takes a shot from distance towards goal...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  John Haden is first to the loose ball and is able to clear.

36' - Brian McCaskey shoots from outside the area...and its in! It's a nice goal from Brian McCaskey for East Fife!  The ball flew past the diving keepers hand!

37' - Montrose kick the ball off for the restart.  

40' - John Haden plays a short pass to Bruce McCausland.  Bruce McCausland finds John Haden with a short pass.  John Haden finds Dennis Bain with a long pass.  Dennis Bain crosses the ball, and manages to find Pat McSpadden.  Pat McSpadden looks to shoot the ball into the top of the net...but the shot is saved by the keeper!  

43' - Jim McCort finds Ronald McCamish with a short pass.  Ronald McCamish spots a run from Brian McCaskey.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but Brian McCaskey is caught offside!  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Montrose kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

50' - Dennis Bain chips a long ball to Bruce McCausland.  Bruce McCausland curves the ball into the box, finding David McNish.  David McNish directs a header attempting to beat the keeper...but the shot sails over the bar!

52' - Jim McCort sees a run from Ronald McCamish.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Ronald McCamish is able to take the ball.  Ronald McCamish attempts a shot...but the keeper manages to tip the shot round the post!  The linesman flags for a corner for  East Fife.  Eric Heriot gets ready to take the corner.  He hits the ball into the box, and manages to find Brian McCaskey.  Brian McCaskey gets above the defence and directs a header hoping to beat the keeper...and its in! It's a fine goal from Brian McCaskey for East Fife!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but couldn't stop the shot!

52' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Dai Murphy will come off.  James McQuerry joins the game from the bench.

72' - East Fife launch a counter attack.  James McQuerry finds Eric Heriot with a long pass.  Eric Heriot sees Joseph Armstrong making a run.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, and Joseph Armstrong is able to control the ball.  Joseph Armstrong tries to shoot the ball into the top of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Brian McCaskey gets to the ball first...Brian McCaskey shoots...but Brin McBay stops the shot!  He can't hold it though...Eric Heriot gets to the ball first...Eric Heriot looks to strike the ball into the top of the net...but the shot is parried by Brin McBay!  Bruce McCausland gets to the ball first and clears.

80' - Alex Phillips chips a long ball to Rob McCaskey.  Tommy McIntyre successfully tackles Rob McCaskey and takes the ball.  Tommy McIntyre hits the ball long to James McQuerry.  James McQuerry passes the ball to Brian McCaskey.  Brian McCaskey spots a run from Ronald McCamish.  He attempts to dink the ball to send his teammate through, but Ronald McCamish is caught offside!  

82' - Bruce McCausland takes a shot from outside the area towards goal...but the shot is offtarget!

91' - The referee blows the whistle for full time.
