He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Clint Speirs is able to control the ball.  Clint Speirs tries to cutback, but Harry Wyburn overshoots the ball and it goes loose! Chris Irwin dispossesses Dominic Rodie and takes possession.  

41' - Chris Irwin passes the ball to Eddie Valentine.  Eddie Valentine sees a run from Mick Vernor.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, and Mick Vernor runs on to the ball.  Mick Vernor tries to strike the ball into the top of the net...but the ball flies over the bar!
