Ron Elias tries to beat Neville Marre using his ball skills, but is tripped.    The referee is reaching for a card.  It's yellow. Neville Marre has been booked.  That will be a freekick for Hibernian.  

40' - James MacNaughton prepares to take the freekick.  He sends the ball into the box and finds Ken McBane.  Ken McBane hits a shot, aiming for the top of the net...but Douglas McClintock stops the shot!  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

45' - Celtic kick the ball off for the restart.  

50' - Jax Mancha slides the ball to Charles McAdam.  Charles McAdam passes to Anton McCorkel.  Anton McCorkel plays a long ball to Charles McAdam.  Charles McAdam takes a shot from long range towards goal...but the keeper manages to tip the shot round the post!  The linesman signals its a corner for Celtic.  Ricky McClellan places the ball to take the corner.  He hits the ball into the box, and manages to find Lennie Sasseen.  Lennie Sasseen gets above the defence and heads the ball towards the top corner...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Bruce McBay manages to clear the ball for the defending team.

54' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like John McIntyre is going to be taken off.  Gavin Symington joins the game from the bench.  

56' - Jordan Coleman finds Alexander Kerr with a short pass.  Alexander Kerr spots a run from James MacNaughton.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but James MacNaughton has strayed offside!  

58' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Jax Mancha will come off.  John McCormick is brought on from the bench.  

61' - Gordon MacAlpine chips a long ball to Bruce McBay.  Bruce McBay passes the ball to Alexander Kerr.  Alexander Kerr sees a run from Tom McClenny. He attempts a quick throughball, and Lennie Sasseen is able to control the ball.  Lennie Sasseen attempts to lift the ball over the advancing keeper...and its in! It's a tremendous goal from Lennie Sasseen for Celtic!  The keeper backpeddled desperately but had no chance!

65' - Hibernian kick the ball off for the restart.  

71' - Ricky McClellan spots a run from Lennie Sasseen.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but Lennie Sasseen has strayed offside!  

72' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Neil McPhail is going to be taken off.  Rob McWethy joins the game from the bench.  

78' - John McCormick passes to James MacNeil.  James MacNeil plays a short pass to John McCormick.  John McCormick slides the ball to Byron Tellier.  Byron Tellier sees Lennie Sasseen making a run.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Lennie Sasseen is able to control the ball.  Lennie Sasseen hits a shot towards goal...but the shot is saved by the keeper!
