38' - Stephen Warden dispossesses Malcolm Nevin and takes the ball.  Ashford attempt a quick counter attack.  Stephen Warden spots a run from Paul Monroe.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, but Paul Monroe has strayed offside!  

43' - Mel Hanegan plays a long pass to Malcolm Nevin.  Malcolm Nevin passes to Robert Bett.  Robert Bett finds Mel Hanegan with a short pass. John Ready tries to hit the ball past the keeper...and John Ready scores!  Its a goal for Ashford!  The ball bounced off the post and into the net!
