38' - Peter Stalford hits the ball long to John Canet.  John Canet spots a run from Alen Desmond.  He attempts to play him through with a quick ball, and Alen Desmond is able to take the ball.  Alen Desmond attempts the cutback and finds Dave Taggart.  Dave Taggart looks to place the ball past the keeper...but the shot is tipped around the post by Shaun Duane!  The linesman flags for a corner for  Stalybridge.  Bob McClintick places the ball to take the corner.  He curls the ball into the box, but opposing player Angus Walters takes possession.  

42' - Angus Walters finds Tobias Pettie with a long ball.  Tobias Pettie passes to Morgan Russell.  Morgan Russell finds Arran Collias with a short pass.  Dan Walsh tackles Arran Collias and gains possession for his team.  Dan Walsh speeds past Paul MacCracken.  

43' - Dan Walsh sees Stuart McFarland making a run.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, but the linesman signals for offside!  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

53' - Dave Taggart finds Dave Quinn with a short pass.  Malcolm MacQueen successfully tackles Dave Quinn and takes the ball.  Alen Desmond dispossesses Malcolm MacQueen and takes possession.  Stalybridge try to launch a counter attack.  Alen Desmond passes the ball to Dave Quinn.  Dave Quinn brings the ball forward, attempting to outpace Tobias Pettie, but is brought down. The referee pulls out the yellow card to book Tobias Pettie.  But this is his second yellow!  The referee pulls out the red and sends the player off!That will be a freekick for Stalybridge.  

56' - Alen Desmond stands over the ball, preparing to take the freekick.  He sends the ball into the box, but opposing player Ian Shank takes possession.
