29' - Bob Fannon hits the ball long to Ian McLean.  Ian McLean tries to shoot from distance into the top of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Eddie Baines gets to the ball first...Eddie Baines fires a shot...but the keeper manages to tip the shot round the post!  That will be a corner for  Newport.  Joe Dempster places the ball to take the corner.  He curls the ball into the box, but opposing player Lee Llewellyn takes possession.  

32' - Lee Llewellyn passes to Douglas McQuiston.  Douglas McQuiston passes a long ball to Paul Donoghue.  Paul Donoghue sees a run from Richard Kemp.  He tries to release him with a throughball, but the linesman signals for offside!

85' - Jamie MacIver finds Ian Trevor with a long pass.  Ian Trevor sees Richard Kemp making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Richard Kemp is able to control the ball.  Richard Kemp strikes the ball towards goal...but the keeper dives and manages to stop the shot!
