16' - Joseph Dolan spots a run from Jim MacKillop.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Jim MacKillop is able to control the ball.  Jim MacKillop attempts to strike the ball into the top of the net...and Jim MacKillop scores!  That's a beautiful goal from the Elgin City player!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but it wasn't enough!

16' - The Spartans kick the ball off for the restart.  

19' - Ed Noyce slides the ball to Gavin McWhinnie.  Gavin McWhinnie finds Andy MacGibbon with a short pass.  Andy MacGibbon finds Gavin McWhinnie with a long ball. Joseph McCallister spots a run from Dennis MacPhail.  He attempts to dink the ball to send his teammate through, and Dennis MacPhail runs on to the ball.  Dennis MacPhail looks to shoot the ball into the top of the net...but Martin Law stops the shot!  

25' - Martin Law sees a run from Jim MacKillop.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Jim MacKillop takes the ball.  Jim MacKillop looks to hit the ball past the keeper...but the shot is tipped around the post by Charlie McCrady!  The linesman signals its a corner for Elgin City.  Sid MacLachlan places the ball to take the corner.  He hits the ball into the box, but Darryl Stackpoole intercepts and takes possession.  

28' - John McWethy dispossesses Sid MacLachlan and the ball goes loose.  Dennis MacPhail sees John McWethy making a run.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, and John McWethy takes the ball.  John McWethy looks to slide the ball past the keeper...but Martin Law gets down to stop the shot!  

30' - Martin Law sees Jim MacKillop making a run.  He attempts a long ball over the top, and Jim MacKillop takes the ball.  Jim MacKillop fires a shot towards goal...but the ball flies wide of the post!

32' - Charlie McCrady sees Dennis MacPhail making a run.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, but Dennis MacPhail can't get to the ball!  

39' - Gavin McWhinnie chips a long ball to Andy MacGibbon.  Andy MacGibbon chips a long ball to Ed Bryce.  Ed Bryce slides the ball to Dennis MacPhail.  With a turn of pace, Dennis MacPhail beats Sid MacLachlan.  

40' - Dennis MacPhail crosses the ball, finding Gordon McCleod.  Joseph Dolan impedes Gordon McCleod...and the referee blows his whistle and signals a penalty!  John McWethy will take the penalty.  He attempts  to hit the ball into the top corner...and its in! It's a nice goal from John McWethy for The Spartans!  The keeper could not get to the ball!

40' - Elgin City kick the ball off for the restart.  

42' - Adam Corson passes the ball to Jim MacKillop.  Jim MacKillop passes to Sid MacLachlan.  Sid MacLachlan tries to hit a long range shot...but the shot is offtarget!

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

51' - Darryl Stackpoole plays a short pass to Tommy McClean.  Tommy McClean finds Gavin McWhinnie with a short pass.  Gavin McWhinnie finds Ed Bryce with a long ball.
