James Law looks to place the ball past the keeper...but the shot is parried by Angus Clapperton!  Pat McColm manages to clear the ball for the defending team.

33' - With a turn of pace, Ed MacArtney beats James Law.  

37' - Ed MacArtney slides the ball to Joseph McCleod.  Joseph McCleod passes a long ball to Pat McColm.  Pat McColm sees a run from Ray Gruffudd.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, and Ray Gruffudd is able to take the ball.  Ray Gruffudd tries to slide the ball past the keeper...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...James Law gets to the ball first and clears.

42' - James Law finds Lee Tolmie with a short pass.  Charlie McCluney successfully tackles Lee Tolmie and takes possession.  Rutherglen FC launch a counter attack.  Charlie McCluney sees Ed MacArtney making a run.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

46' - Ed Weir finds Andy Hanegan with a long ball.  Andy Hanegan curls in a cross, and manages to find Glynn Symons.  Glynn Symons directs a header down towards the bottom corner...but Angus Clapperton stops the shot!  He can't hold it though...Tommy McCort manages to clear the ball for the defending team.

46' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

47' - Dundee Utd kick the ball off for the restart.  

51' - James Law passes the ball to Andy Hanegan.  Andy Hanegan slides the ball to Dai MacKechnie.  Anton Blair dispossesses Dai MacKechnie and gains possession for his team.  Rutherglen FC attempt to counter.  Bruce Marvin successfully tackles Anton Blair and gains possession for his team.  Bruce Marvin finds Thomas Brewster with a long ball.  Thomas Brewster sees Dai MacKechnie making a run.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Dai MacKechnie is able to take the ball.  Dai MacKechnie hits a shot...but the keeper dives and manages to stop the shot!

Tommy McCort is first to the loose ball and is able to clear.
