13' - Ewan McClatchy dispossesses John McNeeley and the ball goes loose.  John McNeeley plays the ball to Lewis Cody.  Lewis Cody sees Cole Kanney making a run.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, and Cole Kanney is able to control the ball.  Cole Kanney tries to strike the ball into the top of the net...but the keeper manages to stop the shot!  

17' - Gus Lesslie tackles Vincent McBride and gains possession for his team.  Southport attempt a quick counter attack.  Gus Lesslie sees Jamie Gibby making a run.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but Jamie Gibby has strayed offside!  

20' - Robert Lennon passes a long ball to Lewis Cody.  Ewan McClatchy dispossesses Lewis Cody and the ball goes loose.  Lewis Cody dispossesses Mike Udofia and the ball goes loose.  Mike Udofia plays a long ball to Jamie Gibby.  Jamie Gibby looks to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...but its wide!

21' - Matthew McCotter sees Lewis Cody making a run.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, but Lewis Cody  is unable to take the ball down!  

25' - Nicholas Duke plays a long pass to John Doyle.  Vincent McBride tackles John Doyle and the ball goes loose.  Nick Hanes brings the ball forward, outpacing John Johns.  

32' - Jordan Teagan chips a long ball to John Faughn.  John Faughn plays a short pass to Lewis Cody.  Lewis Cody attempts a shot from outside the area...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  John Doyle is first to the loose ball and is able to clear.

34' - Jordan Teagan passes to Jim McClennen.  Jim McClennen spots a run from John McNeeley.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, but John McNeeley can't get to the ball!  

38' - John Doyle chips a long ball to Paul Georgiou.  Paul Georgiou tries to beat Vincent McBride using his ball skills and succeeds, deftly slipping past the opposing player!  

39' - Paul Georgiou attempts to hit a long range shot...but the shot goes wide!

41' - Jim McClennen shoots from long range, aiming for the corner of the net...but Ian Galloway gets down to stop the shot!  

43' - Ian Galloway finds Robert Lowe with a long pass.  Robert Lowe sees Paul Georgiou making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Atherton kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

48' - Nick Hanes passes to Jim McClennen.  Jim McClennen plays a short pass to Jordan Teagan.  Jordan Teagan plays a long pass to Jim McClennen.  Jim McClennen attempts to hit a long range shot...and its in! It's a superb goal from Jim McClennen for Atherton!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but couldn't stop the shot!

52' - Jamie Gibby uses his pace to beat John Faughn, but is illegally impeded.    The referee has no hesitation in showing John Faughn the yellow card. That will be a freekick for Southport.  

53' - Ewan McClatchy stands over the ball, preparing to take the freekick.  He curves the ball into the box and finds Clint Mulloy.  Clint Mulloy gets above the defence and heads the ball towards the top corner...but the shot sails over the bar!

53' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Paul Georgiou is going to be taken off.  Leeroy Westwater is going to be brought on.  

55' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Vincent McBride will come off.  James Brodrick joins the game from the bench.  

56' - John Johns attempts to hit a long range shot past the keeper...and John Johns scores!  Its a goal for Southport!  The keeper had no chance!

69' - Robert Lowe dispossesses Robert Lennon and takes the ball.  Robert Lowe sees Gus Lesslie making a run.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, but Gus Lesslie is caught offside!  

73' - Gordon MacIntyre tries to beat Leeroy Westwater using his ball skills, and is able to dribble past his opponent!  

74' - Gordon MacIntyre sees a run from Cole Kanney.  He attempts to play a throughball, and Cole Kanney runs on to the ball.  Cole Kanney takes a shot, aiming for the top of the net...but the shot is saved by the keeper!  

75' - Rhod Griffiths attempts to shoot from distance into the top of the net...but the ball flies over the bar!

86' - Jim McClennen brings the ball forward, outpacing Leeroy Westwater.  

87' - Jim McClennen spots a run from Jordan Teagan.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but Jordan Teagan can't get to the ball!  

90' - Lewis Cody tries to unleash a long range shot...and its in! It's a lovely goal from Lewis Cody for Atherton!  The diving keeper couldn't get near the ball!
