Clint Riggins passes to John Coey.  John Coey curls in a cross, and manages to find Stephen Howat.  Stephen Howat strikes the ball...but the shot is offtarget!

James Carruthers hits the ball from distance towards goal...but Manuel Manriquez deflects the shot out of play.  The linesman signals its a corner for Whitecaps.  Clint Riggins gets ready to take the corner.  He curls the ball into the box, but Ponce Hurtado intercepts and takes possession.  

17' - Ponce Hurtado plays the ball to Vitali Bure.  Vitali Bure passes a long ball to Lennert Feryn.  Lennert Feryn attempts to use his skills to beat James Bowar.  The opposing player is unable to stop Lennert Feryn who takes the ball forward!  

19' - Lennert Feryn tries to shoot from distance into the top of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Danny Paxton gets to the ball first...Danny Paxton tries to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...and Danny Paxton scores!  That's a nice goal from the Houston player!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but couldn't stop the shot!

19' - Whitecaps kick the ball off for the restart.  

23' - James Carruthers uses his pace to beat Melker Bondeson.  

24' - James Carruthers spots a run from Stephen Howat.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, but Stephen Howat is caught offside!  

35' - Sam Leap tries to hit a long range shot...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Danny Paxton gets to the ball first...Danny Paxton hits the ball towards goal...but Ian Reaney stops the shot!  He can't hold it though...Ponce Hurtado is first to the ball...Ponce Hurtado hits the ball, aiming for the top of the net...but the keeper manages to stop the shot!  

36' - Ian Reaney sees James Bowar making a run.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, but James Bowar has strayed offside!  

43' - James Carruthers sees a run from Stephen Howat.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Stephen Howat takes the ball.  Stephen Howat attempts a shot...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  Ponce Hurtado is first to the loose ball and is able to clear.

45' - With a turn of pace, James Bowar beats Ponce Hurtado.  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Houston kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

51' - Noel Paradise passes to Ethan Wisely.  Ethan Wisely plays the ball to Kee-hee So.  Kee-hee So finds Noel Paradise with a short pass.  Michael Heffernan tackles Noel Paradise and takes possession.  Michael Heffernan runs with the ball, beating Melker Bondeson.  

52' - Michael Heffernan sees a run from James Carruthers.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and James Carruthers runs on to the ball.  James Carruthers hits the ball, aiming for the top of the net...but Manuel Manriquez stops the shot!  

62' - Vitali Bure dispossesses John Conant and the ball goes loose.  Clint Riggins passes the ball to Stephen Howat.  Stephen Howat attempts to outskill Noel Paradise and succeeds, deftly slipping past the opposing player!  

62' - Stephen Howat tries to hit a long range shot past the keeper...but its wide!

64' - James Carruthers sees a run from Platt Lux.  He tries to release him with a throughball, and Platt Lux is able to take the ball.  Platt Lux tries to strike the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is saved by Manuel Manriquez!  

67' - Manuel Manriquez spots a run from Melker Bondeson.  He attempts a long ball over the top, and Melker Bondeson runs on to the ball.  Melker Bondeson looks to hit the ball past the keeper...but the shot is offtarget!

68' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Stephen Howat is going to be taken off.  John Gath is brought on from the bench.  

71' - Guillermo Puentes sees a run from James Bowar.  He tries to release him with a throughball, and James Bowar is able to take the ball.  James Bowar looks to slide the ball past the keeper...but its wide!

74' - Manuel Manriquez plays a short pass to Ponce Hurtado.  Ponce Hurtado passes to Kee-hee So.  Kee-hee So spots a run from Danny Paxton.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, but the linesman signals for offside!  

78' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Clint Riggins will come off.  Inigo Sleigh is going to be brought on.  

79' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Noel Paradise will come off.  Cruz Montana is going to be brought on.  

80' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Adnan Jabbour is going to be taken off.  Robert Sword is going to be brought on.  

81' - Michael Heffernan crosses the ball, but he only manages to find opposing player Kee-hee So.

88' - James Bowar finds John Conant with a long ball.  John Conant passes a long ball to Mark Moutray.  Mark Moutray passes the ball to John Coey.  John Coey tries to beat Kee-hee So using his ball skills, but is tripped.  That will be a freekick for Whitecaps.  

89' - James Bowar prepares to take the freekick.  He curls the ball into the box, but Vitali Bure intercepts and takes possession.
