10' - Paul McNiall dispossesses Corey Kane and the ball goes loose.  Matt Winstone strikes the ball from outside the area, aiming for the corner of the net...but the keeper manages to tip the shot round the post!  The linesman flags for a corner for  St. Helens.  Corey Kane gets ready to take the corner.  He whips the ball into the box, but the ball is overhit and misses everyone.  

12' - Corey Kane crosses the ball and finds Joe Dower.  Floyd Varela impedes Joe Dower.  The referee blows his whistle and points to the spot!  Joe Dower stands over the ball, preparing to take the penalty.  He attempts  to place the ball into the bottom corner...but the ball flies wide of the post!

16' - Bart Mabin finds Mark Aikins with a long ball.  Mark Aikins crosses the ball into the box, but Chris MacNeil intercepts the ball.  

18' - Chris MacNeil plays a long pass to Floyd Varela.  Floyd Varela spots a run from Inigo Barrett.  He attempts a quick throughball, but Inigo Barrett is unable to control the ball!

41' - Rehman Nouri passes a long ball to Floyd Varela.  Floyd Varela crosses the ball into the box, but the ball goes over everyone.  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

47' - Paul McNiall slides the ball to Joe McQuiston.  Joe McQuiston plays a short pass to Floyd Varela.  Floyd Varela sees Kian Vaughn making a run.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but Kian Vaughn has strayed offside!  

50' - Inigo Barrett tackles Corey Kane and takes possession.  Inigo Barrett sees Floyd Varela making a run.  He attempts a quick throughball, but Floyd Varela is caught offside!
