35' - Eddie Leamon strikes the ball from long range towards goal...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  Steven Johns is first to the ball...Steven Johns tries to strike the ball into the top of the net...and Steven Johns scores!  That's a nice goal from the Newport player!  The ball flew past the keepers hand!

39' - Eddie Leamon passes a long ball to Rhys Toshack.  Rhys Toshack speeds past Peter Ferris.  

40' - Rhys Toshack spots a run from Dave Kerrigan.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but Dave Kerrigan has strayed offside!  

44' - Michael Evans chips a long ball to Peter Ferris.  Gary Hughes successfully tackles Peter Ferris and gains possession for his team.  Gary Hughes hits the ball long to Steven Johns.  Steven Johns spots a run from Steve Pierson.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, and Steve Pierson is able to take the ball.  Steve Pierson looks to hit the ball past the keeper...but the shot is parried by Craig Symons!  Steve Pierson is first to the ball...Steve Pierson hits a shot towards goal...but the ball flies wide of the post!

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Pontypool kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

51' - Michael Evans attempts to use his skills to beat Haaris Saidi, but is illegally impeded.    The referee pulls out a card...it's yellow.  He books Haaris Saidi.That will be a freekick for Pontypool.  

52' - Michael Evans will take the freekick.  He curves the ball into the box, but opposing player Jonny Gibson takes possession.  

57' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Aidan McCaig is going to be taken off.  Elliot Winstone joins the game from the bench.  

61' - Declan Doda chips a long ball to Haaris Saidi.  Haaris Saidi crosses the ball and finds Steve Pierson.  Steve Pierson tries to place the ball past the keeper...and Steve Pierson scores!  That's a good goal from the Newport player!  The ball flew past the diving keepers hand!

61' - Pontypool kick the ball off for the restart.  

66' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Eddie Leamon is going to be taken off.  Brin Mulligan is brought on from the bench.  

76' - Newport attempt to counter.  Gary Hughes plays a long pass to Brin Mulligan.  Brin Mulligan plays a short pass to Dave Kerrigan.  Dave Kerrigan passes to Brin Mulligan.  Brin Mulligan attempts to outskill Alexander McClurg, but is illegally impeded.    The referee has no hesitation in showing Alexander McClurg the yellow card. That will be a freekick for Newport.

89' - Steven Johns passes a long ball to Gary Hughes.  Gary Hughes finds Brin Mulligan with a short pass.  Alexander McClurg tackles Brin Mulligan and the ball goes loose.  Michael Davies sees Brin Mulligan making a run.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, but Brin Mulligan has strayed offside!
