Steve Pierson places the ball to take the corner.  He hits the ball into the box, and manages to find Steven Johns.  Steven Johns gets his head to the ball towards goal...but the ball flies over the bar!

80' - Steven Johns sees a run from Steve Pierson.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but Steve Pierson is caught offside!  

87' - Tom Wyburn hits the ball long to Steven Johns.  Steven Johns passes to Michael Evanson.  Michael Evanson spots a run from Eddie Leamon.  He attempts to play him through with a quick ball, and Eddie Leamon takes the ball.  Eddie Leamon fires a shot towards goal...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  Hayden Barrett gets to the ball first and clears.

92' - Spencer Lindsay tackles Michael Evanson and the ball goes loose.  Edmund Vaughan plays the ball to Michael Evanson.  Michael Evanson sees Eddie Leamon making a run.  He tries to release him with a throughball, and Eddie Leamon is able to control the ball.  Eddie Leamon looks to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...and its in! Its a goal for Newport!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but it wasn't enough!
