Tom McPheters is impeded by George McCoach...and the referee immediately blows his whistle - its a penalty!  Charlie Fairbairn steps up to take the penalty.  He attempts  to power the ball into the top corner...but the shot is saved by Peter McBean!  

13' - Peter McBean plays the ball to Ian McConkie.  Ian McConkie crosses the ball, but Tom Madden intercepts and clears the ball behind for a corner.  

15' - Ed McGrath will take the corner.  He curves the ball into the box and finds Chris McCaskey.  Chris McCaskey is brought down by Douglas Kelly...and the referee blows his whistle and signals a penalty!  Alex McManus will take the penalty.  He attempts  to place the ball into the bottom corner...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Tom Madden gets to the ball first and clears.

16' - Alan Elder sees Tom McPheters making a run.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Tom McPheters is able to take the ball.  Tom McPheters tries to strike the ball into the top of the net...but the ball flies over the bar!

17' - Peter McBean sees Billy McFarlane making a run.  He attempts a long ball over the top, and Billy McFarlane runs on to the ball.  Billy McFarlane looks to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...and its in! It's a nice goal from Billy McFarlane for Thurso FC!  The diving keeper couldn't get near the ball!

18' - Rutherglen FC kick the ball off for the restart.  

23' - Tom McPheters whips in a cross, and manages to find Alan Elder.  Chris McCaskey brings down Alan Elder.  The referee blows his whistle and awards a penalty!  Charlie Fairbairn prepares to take the penalty.  He attempts  to hit the ball into the bottom corner...but the ball flies wide of the post!

29' - John McClintock sees a run from Charlie Fairbairn.  He attempts to play a throughball, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

33' - Charlie Fairbairn takes the ball past George McCoach with a turn of pace.  

34' - Charlie Fairbairn crosses the ball into the box and finds Tom McPheters.  Tom McPheters is impeded by Eddie McConachie.  The referee blows his whistle and awards a penalty!  Charlie Fairbairn will take the penalty.  He attempts  to hit the ball into the top corner...but its over!

35' - Peter McBean spots a run from Billy McFarlane.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but Billy McFarlane can't get to the ball!  

39' - Robert Laird passes a long ball to Douglas Kelly.  Douglas Kelly sees Alan Elder making a run.  He attempts a quick throughball, and Alan Elder takes the ball.  Alan Elder tries to place the ball past the keeper...but the ball flies wide of the post!

45' - Alan Elder plays the ball to Douglas Kelly.  Douglas Kelly passes a long ball to Robert Laird.  Robert Laird passes to Douglas Kelly.  Douglas Kelly spots a run from Alan Elder.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!
