16' - With a turn of pace, Iain McCausland beats Paul Arnott.  

22' - Douglas Kavanagh runs with the ball, but is brought down illegally by Frank Laird.    The referee pulls out a card...it's yellow.  He books Frank Laird.  That will be a freekick for University of Stirling.  

23' - Angus MacTavish steps up to take the freekick.  He sends the ball into the box, but the ball is overhit and misses everyone.  

28' - Joseph Sweeney passes to Gavin McColgan.  Gavin McColgan sees Paul Arnott making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Paul Arnott is able to take the ball.  Paul Arnott fires a shot...but the keeper manages to tip the shot round the post!  The linesman flags for a corner for  Cowdenbeath.  Pat McSween will take the corner.  He curves the ball into the box, but the ball misses everyone.  

30' - Joseph Sweeney uses his pace to beat Anton Keefe.  

36' - University of Stirling attempt to counter.  Malcolm McAllister finds Anton Keefe with a long ball.  Gavin McColgan successfully tackles Anton Keefe and gains possession for his team.  Gavin McColgan finds Pat McSween with a short pass.  Pat McSween attempts to outskill Anton Keefe, and is able to dribble past his opponent!  

43' - Ronald McAfee sees Paul Arnott making a run.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, and Paul Arnott is able to take the ball.  Paul Arnott tries to slide the ball past the keeper...but the shot goes wide!

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

52' - Ron McCleary spots a run from Ronald McAfee.  He attempts a long ball over the top, and Ronald McAfee is able to control the ball.  Ronald McAfee tries to place the ball past the keeper...but the shot is deflected out of play by the keeper!  The linesman signals its a corner for Cowdenbeath.  Pat McSween places the ball to take the corner.  He hits the ball into the box and finds Joseph Sweeney.  Joseph Sweeney directs a powerful header towards the top corner...but Neil McAlinden stops the shot!

Edward McCleary fouls Duncan McRaney.  The referee blows his whistle and points to the spot!  Gavin McColgan places the ball to take the penalty.
