20' - James Stirling sees Edward Finnegan making a run.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

25' - Malcolm Craigie sees a run from Ron Mears.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Ron Mears runs on to the ball.  Ron Mears tries to hit the ball past the keeper...and Ron Mears scores!  That's a great goal from the Gala Fairydean player!  The ball flew into the corner of the net!

35' - John McCammack attempts to outskill Robert McClure and succeeds, deftly slipping past the opposing player!  

36' - John McCammack tries to shoot the ball into the top of the net...but the ball flies over the bar!

39' - Brian Fleming plays the ball to Ed Corson.  Ed Corson passes to John McCammack.  John McCammack attempts to use his skills to beat Malcolm McWhirter and succeeds, deftly slipping past the opposing player!  

39' - John McCammack whips in a cross, but the ball is overhit and misses everyone.  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Irvine FC kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

50' - Gala Fairydean try to launch a quick counter attack.  Andrew McColl hits the ball long to Martin Bean.  Martin Bean speeds past Bruce MacMasters.  

55' - Martin Bean spots a run from John McCammack.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, and John McCammack is able to take the ball.  John McCammack attempts to hit the ball past the keeper...but James Stirling stops the shot!  He can't hold it though...Peter McNish pounces on the loose ball...Peter McNish tries to shoot the ball into the top of the net...but the shot is deflected out of play by the keeper!  The linesman signals its a corner for Gala Fairydean.  Ron Mears will take the corner.  He sends the ball into the box, finding John McCammack.  John McCammack heads the ball hoping to beat James Stirling...but the keeper manages to tip the shot over the crossbar!  That will be a corner for  Gala Fairydean.  Ron Mears places the ball to take the corner.  He sends the ball into the box and finds Ed Corson.  Ed Corson powers a header attempting to beat the keeper...but its wide!

55' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Malcolm McWhirter will come off.  Dave McPherson is brought on from the bench.  

56' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Edward Finnegan is going to be taken off.  Gordon MacNeill is brought on from the bench.

77' - Gala Fairydean try to launch a quick counter attack.  Malcolm Craigie sees Ron Mears making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Ron Mears is able to control the ball.  Ron Mears attempts the cutback, but Mark MacNeil intercepts the ball to stop the chance! 

78' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Adam McConchie is going to be taken off.  William McNeilly is going to be brought on.  

79' - Peter McNish runs with the ball, beating Jim MacIntyre.
