17' - Paul Malone plays a long ball to Billy Desmond.  With a turn of pace, Billy Desmond beats Malcolm Hawley.

35' - Paul Malone plays a long ball to Davie Delany.  Davie Delany attempts to speed past Ceri Winn, but is brought down.    The referee has no hesitation in showing Ceri Winn the yellow card. That will be a freekick for Braintree.  

36' - Griffith Lloyd steps up to take the freekick.  He lifts the ball into the box, finding Ethan Dredge.  Ethan Dredge flicks a header towards goal...but the shot goes over!

39' - Bruce Musgrave tries to beat Ian Lo Presti using his ball skills, but is brought down.  That will be a freekick for Halifax.  

40' - Bruce Musgrave places the ball to take the freekick.  He curves the ball into the box, finding Brian MacAuley.  Brian MacAuley is brought down by Hugh Haughey...and the referee immediately blows his whistle - its a penalty!  Sid Lane places the ball to take the penalty.  He attempts  to hit the ball into the top corner...but its over!

43' - Ethan Dredge slides the ball to Thomas Burns.  Thomas Burns curls in a cross and finds Gus Wasil.  Gus Wasil gets above the defence and directs a header towards goal...but the shot goes over!

44' - Steve Cooper spots a run from Dylan Bryce.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Dylan Bryce is able to control the ball.  Dylan Bryce looks to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is saved by the keeper!
