The keeper dived the right way but could not reach the ball!

40' - Beverley kick the ball off for the restart.  

44' - Brian McConnell plays a short pass to Denton MacAuley.  Denton MacAuley passes to Noel Soulis.  Noel Soulis finds Robert Dermott with a long pass.  Spencer Jarvie successfully tackles Robert Dermott and takes the ball.  Arthur Soulis dispossesses Spencer Jarvie and the ball goes loose.  Anthony Chisholm chips a long ball to Barry McCarthy.  Barry McCarthy tries to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...and its in! It's a nice goal from Barry McCarthy for Pontefract!  The ball went in off the upright!
