52' - Nathan MacDougal slides the ball to Evan Rowan.  Evan Rowan plays the ball to Arnie Archibald.  Arnie Archibald attempts to use his skills to beat Matthew Oliver, but is brought down illegally.  That will be a freekick for Thornton.  

53' - Josh Hines places the ball to take the freekick.  He curves the ball into the box, but the ball is overhit and misses everyone.

It's a superb goal from Michael McCloud for Thornton!  The ball flew past the helpless goalkeeper!

60' - Arnie Archibald attempts to speed past Inigo McCrary, but is brought down.  That will be a freekick for Thornton.  

61' - Josh Hines prepares to take the freekick.  He curls the ball into the box, finding Evan Rowan.  Evan Rowan is impeded by Jim Mitchell.  The referee blows his whistle and awards a penalty!  Michael McCloud steps up to take the penalty.  He attempts  to hit the ball into the top corner...but the shot sails over the bar!

61' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Josh Hines will come off.  Ian Culton is going to be brought on.  

66' - Jim Mitchell chips a long ball to Paul Georgiou.  Paul Georgiou attempts to speed past Ian Culton, but is brought down.    The referee pulls out the yellow card to book Ian Culton.  That will be a freekick for Southport.  

68' - Chris Mylin prepares to take the freekick.  He curves the ball into the box and finds Paul Georgiou.  Paul Georgiou gets above the defence and directs a header attempting to beat the keeper...and its in! It's a superb goal from Paul Georgiou for Southport!  The ball flew past the helpless goalkeeper!
