24' - John McClintock sees Alan Elder making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Alan Elder takes the ball.  Alan Elder tries to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Alan Marshall manages to clear the ball for the defending team.

28' - Chris McCoach spots a run from Vince McKenzie.  He attempts a quick throughball, and Vince McKenzie takes the ball.  Vince McKenzie attempts a shot towards goal...and its in! It's a fine goal from Vince McKenzie for Deveronvale FC!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but couldn't stop the shot!

31' - Robert Laird passes the ball to Eric Rees.  Eric Rees finds Chris McCaw with a short pass.  Chris McCaw plays a long pass to Alan Elder.  Alan Elder curves the ball into the box, but the ball misses everyone.  

37' - Dennis Gowans plays a long pass to Chris McCoach.  Chris McCoach looks to shoot from distance into the top of the net...but John MacLeod stops the shot!

Alan Elder passes to John McClintock.  John McClintock curls in a cross, and manages to find Alan Elder.  Dennis Gowans fouls Alan Elder...and the referee blows his whistle and signals a penalty!  Charlie Fairbairn will take the penalty.  He attempts  to strike the ball down the middle...and its in! It's a superb goal from Charlie Fairbairn for Rutherglen FC!  The keeper guessed the wrong way!

49' - Rutherglen FC attempt to counter.  Chris McCaw speeds past Peter Hall.  

54' - Chris McCaw plays a long pass to Alan Elder.  Alan Elder finds Tom McPheters with a short pass.  William Dewar tackles Tom McPheters and takes the ball. 63' - William Dewar passes the ball to Alan Marshall.  Alan Marshall passes to Pat Cochrane.  Pat Cochrane finds Dennis Gowans with a long pass.  Dennis Gowans finds Chris McCoach with a short pass.  Brian Kelley dispossesses Chris McCoach and takes the ball.  Brian Kelley finds Alan Elder with a long ball.  Alan Elder plays the ball to John McClintock.  John McClintock spots a run from Arthur McPheron.  He attempts a long ball over the top, and Arthur McPheron is able to control the ball. He is unable to hold it though...Chris McCoach is first to the loose ball...Chris McCoach looks to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the ball flies wide of the post!

78' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Dennis Gowans is going to be taken off.  Bruce McQuillan is brought on from the bench.
