20' - Dennis Napier finds Charles McCallister with a long ball.  Charles McCallister finds Neil Buchanan with a short pass.  Brian Kelley successfully tackles Neil Buchanan and the ball goes loose.  John MacNeill attempts to hit a long range shot...but the keeper dives and manages to stop the shot!  

23' - John MacLeod sees a run from Arthur McPheron.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Arthur McPheron runs on to the ball.  Arthur McPheron hits the ball towards goal...but Dennis Napier stops the shot!  He can't hold it though...Rob Wallace is first to the loose ball and is able to clear.

37' - Thomas Burn chips a long ball to Chris McCaw.  Chris McCaw hits a shot from long range...but the ball flies wide of the post!

38' - Dennis Napier sees John MacNeill making a run.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and John MacNeill is able to take the ball.  John MacNeill shoots, aiming for the corner of the net...and its in! Its a goal for Inverurie FC!  The ball flew into the corner of the net!

39' - Rutherglen FC kick the ball off for the restart.  

44' - Charles McCallister hits the ball long to Peter Macmillan.  Peter Macmillan sees Tommy McSherry making a run.  He attempts a long ball over the top, and Tommy McSherry takes the ball.  Tommy McSherry reaches the byline and tries a cutback, but Chris McCaw gets back and intercepts the ball!

It's a nice goal from Arthur McPheron for Rutherglen FC!  The ball flew past the helpless goalkeeper!

69' - Ronald MacMasters chips a long ball to John McClintock.  John McClintock curves the ball into the box, but he only manages to find opposing player Charles Haughey.  

76' - Tom Mone passes the ball to Brian Kelley.  Brian Kelley tries to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...but the shot is deflected out of play by the keeper!  The linesman flags for a corner for  Rutherglen FC.  Hugh Ellis will take the corner.  He sends the ball into the box, and manages to find Eric Rees.  Eric Rees jumps up to head the ball attempting to beat Dennis Napier...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  Rob McCrady manages to clear the ball for the defending team.

79' - Charles Haughey sees Ronald Thomas making a run.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Ronald Thomas is able to take the ball.  Ronald Thomas reaches the byline and tries a cutback, but Charles Haughey is unable to latch on to the ball and it goes loose!  Tom Mone plays a long ball to Eric Rees.  Eric Rees runs with the ball, but is dispossessed by Charles Haughey.  

82' - Charles Haughey passes to George McPhatter.  George McPhatter passes to Neil Buchanan.  Tom Mone dispossesses Neil Buchanan and the ball goes loose.  Tom Mone plays a short pass to Ronald MacMasters.  Ronald MacMasters runs with the ball, beating Brian McCrea.  

88' - Ronald MacMasters passes a long ball to Robert Laird.  Robert Laird passes to Hugh Ellis.  Hugh Ellis tries to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Alan Elder is first to the ball...Alan Elder shoots towards goal...but Dennis Napier deflects the shot out of play.  The linesman signals its a corner for Rutherglen FC.  Hugh Ellis will take the corner.  He curves the ball into the box, and manages to find Arthur McPheron.  Arthur McPheron gets his head to the ball hoping to beat Dennis Napier...and Arthur McPheron scores!  That's a lovely goal from the Rutherglen FC player!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but it wasn't enough!
