John Biggart tries to strike the ball into the corner of the net...and its in! It's a fine goal from John Biggart for Preston!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but it wasn't enough!

22' - Morgan Baines passes the ball to Nick Deas.  Nick Deas passes the ball to Geoff Flanagan.  Geoff Flanagan brings the ball forward, outpacing Marc Bowen.  

26' - Robert Cowman finds Morgan Baines with a long ball.  Morgan Baines attempts to beat Lisandro Penaloza using his skills, and manages to dribble past his opponent!  

29' - Will Sweeney dispossesses Jake Toshack and takes the ball.  Will Sweeney spots a run from Dave Torrence.  He attempts a quick throughball, but Dave Torrence is caught offside!  

32' - Lisandro Penaloza passes to Jake Toshack.  Jake Toshack chips a long ball to John Biggart.  John Biggart spots a run from Marc Bowen.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Marc Bowen takes the ball.  Marc Bowen attempts the cutback, but Morgan Baines intercepts the ball to stop the chance! 

37' - Dan Corcoran sees John Biggart making a run.  He attempts to play him through with a quick ball, and John Biggart takes the ball.  John Biggart looks to slide the ball past the keeper...and its in! It's a superb goal from John Biggart for Preston!  The ball bounced off the post and into the net!

38' - Grimsby kick the ball off for the restart.  

41' - Nick Deas passes to Geoff Flanagan.  Geoff Flanagan passes the ball to Morgan Baines.  Morgan Baines tries to beat Rob Daniel using his ball skills, but is brought down illegally.  That will be a freekick for Grimsby.  

42' - Morgan Baines steps up to take the freekick.  He sends the ball into the box, and manages to find Robert Cowman.  Robert Cowman gets above the defence and directs a header down towards the bottom corner...but the shot is offtarget!

44' - Malcolm McClung chips a long ball to John Biggart.  John Biggart spots a run from Andrew Matthew.  He attempts a long ball over the top, and Andrew Matthew is able to take the ball.  Andrew Matthew reaches the byline and attempts a cutback, but Michael Jernigan gets back and intercepts the ball!

48' - Andrew Matthew passes the ball to John Biggart.  John Biggart plays a short pass to Lisandro Penaloza.  Lisandro Penaloza finds Marc Bowen with a long pass.  Marc Bowen attempts to outskill Morgan Baines, but is illegally impeded.  That will be a freekick for Preston.  

50' - Lisandro Penaloza prepares to take the freekick.  He floats the ball into the box, and manages to find Ian Ferguson.  Ian Ferguson jumps up to head the ball hoping to beat Morgan Souter...but the shot is saved by Morgan Souter!  

52' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Amon Osmond is going to be taken off.  Rhys Dower joins the game from the bench.  

53' - Morgan Baines tries to hit a long range shot past the keeper...but Malcolm McClung gets down to stop the shot!

That's a fine goal from the Grimsby player!  The ball went in off the underside of the crossbar!
