William Bigger looks to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is parried by Ceri Perkins!  Darryl Thrift manages to clear the ball for the defending team.

He tries to release him with a throughball, and Leon Lynch is able to control the ball.  Leon Lynch tries to place the ball past the keeper...but the ball flies wide of the post!

81' - Ceri Perkins finds Joey Connolly with a short pass.  Joey Connolly finds Michael Sommer with a long pass.  Michael Sommer crosses the ball into the box, finding Darryl Thrift.  Darryl Thrift gets above the defence and heads the ball attempting to beat the keeper...and its in! It's a good goal from Darryl Thrift for Atherton!  The keeper got a touch but it wasn't enough!
