17' - Seth Bruce crosses the ball, but Eric Rees intercepts and takes possession.

48' - John McClintock plays a long pass to Robert Laird.  Ed Rhind dispossesses Robert Laird and the ball goes loose.  Jamie McPhillips dispossesses John McClintock and takes possession.  Eric Rees successfully tackles Jamie McPhillips and gains possession for his team.  Rutherglen FC attempt to counter.  Iain MacCormack successfully tackles Eric Rees and the ball goes loose.  John McClintock sees a run from Douglas Kelly.  He attempts to play a throughball, and Douglas Kelly takes the ball.  Douglas Kelly attempts to strike the ball into the top of the net...but Charlie McCrady stops the shot! 54' - John McClintock attempts to outskill Darryl Stackpoole, but is tripped.    The referee pulls out a card...it's yellow.  He books Darryl Stackpoole.That will be a freekick for Rutherglen FC.  

54' - It looks like John McClintock can't continue.  There is going to be a subsitution.  John McClintock will come off.  Alan Elder joins the game from the bench.

74' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Ed Bryce will come off.  George MacRae is brought on from the bench.  

75' - Alan Elder sees Eric Rees making a run.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Eric Rees is able to take the ball.  Eric Rees attempts the cutback and finds Alan Elder.  Alan Elder looks to strike the ball into the top of the net...and Alan Elder scores!  That's a fine goal from the Rutherglen FC player!  The ball rebounded in off the post!

76' - The Spartans kick the ball off for the restart.  

81' - Ed Rhind passes the ball to Seth Bruce.  Seth Bruce plays a short pass to Darryl Stackpoole.  Darryl Stackpoole finds Jamie McPhillips with a long pass.
