14' - Gareth Nku finds Greg Grear with a short pass.  Greg Grear finds Dave Donnelly with a long pass.  Dave Donnelly crosses the ball into the box, but he only manages to find opposing player Joey Liddle.  

17' - Joey Liddle chips a long ball to Johnny Steel.  Johnny Steel sees Charlie Magorian making a run.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Charlie Magorian runs on to the ball.  Charlie Magorian tries to chip the ball over the advancing keeper...but the shot is parried by Gareth Nku!  Colin Mulryan gets to the ball first and clears.

25' - Johnny Steel sees John Findlay making a run.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but the linesman signals for offside!  

37' - Port Vale attempt to counter.  Johnny Steel slides the ball to Billy Hayes.  Alec Baker successfully tackles Billy Hayes and takes possession.  Farnborough try to launch a counter attack.  Alec Baker plays a short pass to Paul Mickel.  Paul Mickel plays a short pass to John Darby.  John Darby looks to hit a long range shot...but the ball flies wide of the post!

Charlie Magorian powers a header hoping to beat the keeper...but the shot is tipped over the crossbar by Gareth Nku!  The linesman signals its a corner for Port Vale.  Mick Sorden gets ready to take the corner.  He curves the ball into the box, but the ball is overhit and misses everyone.  

79' - Joey Liddle plays a long ball to Marcus McCausland.  Marcus McCausland curls in a cross, but the ball misses everyone.
