46' - Richard Gwenn finds John Bain with a long pass.  John Bain curls in a cross, finding Edward Ahearn.  Eric Young fouls Edward Ahearn...and the referee blows his whistle and signals a penalty!  John Bain will take the penalty.  He attempts  to hit the ball into the top corner...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Jamie Gibby is first to the loose ball...Jamie Gibby strikes the ball towards goal...and its in! It's a wonderful goal from Jamie Gibby for Southport!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but couldn't stop the shot!

50' - Bruce Rees finds Ethan Davies with a short pass.  Ethan Davies whips in a cross, finding Rob McCleese.  Rob McCleese gets above the defence and directs a header hoping to beat the keeper...but the shot sails over the bar!

51' - Scott Alford sees a run from Edward Ahearn.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, but Edward Ahearn can't get to the ball!

73' - William MacLean passes to Michael Dooyum.  Inigo Crear tackles Michael Dooyum and the ball goes loose.  Edward Ahearn plays a short pass to Rob Kavanagh.  Rob Kavanagh spots a run from Malcolm Desmond.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

76' - Ethan Davies hits the ball long to Jim McClennen.  Jim McClennen spots a run from Cole Kanney.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Cole Kanney takes the ball.  Cole Kanney takes a shot towards goal...and Cole Kanney scores!  That's a beautiful goal from the Atherton player!  The ball flew into the corner of the net!
