24' - Richie McClenney tackles Ashley Innis and the ball goes loose.  James Toshack uses his pace to beat Ellis Kearney.  

28' - John Owen finds Bob Whelan with a short pass.  Bob Whelan plays a long pass to Iain McCray.  With a turn of pace, Iain McCray beats Davie Mulryan, but is then fouled.    The referee has no hesitation in showing Davie Mulryan the yellow card. That will be a freekick for Bromsgrove.

Bob Whelan gets above the defence and heads the ball hoping to beat the keeper...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Jeremy Ferris manages to clear the ball for the defending team.

35' - Bob Whelan sees a run from Ashley Innis.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, and Ashley Innis is able to control the ball.  Ashley Innis attempts to strike the ball into the top of the net...but the shot sails over the bar!

41' - John Leven passes a long ball to Ellis Kearney.  Ellis Kearney chips a long ball to Iain McCray.  Iain McCray tries to beat Roger Delany using his ball skills, but is tripped.  That will be a freekick for Bromsgrove.  

43' - Ashley Innis places the ball to take the freekick.  He curves the ball into the box and finds Robert Lannon.  Robert Lannon attempts to strike the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is saved by the keeper!  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Bromsgrove kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

48' - Mervyn Morris plays the ball to Bob Whelan.  Bob Whelan slides the ball to Mervyn Morris.  Mervyn Morris spots a run from Iain McCray.
