Ceri Evans directs a powerful header attempting to beat Alan McPhillips...but the shot is deflected out of play by the keeper!  The linesman signals its a corner for Birkenhead.  Lloyd Ashley gets ready to take the corner.  He hits the ball into the box and finds Edmund Lever.  Edmund Lever directs a powerful header towards goal...but the shot sails over the bar!

Ian Ashley successfully tackles George McTier and the ball goes loose.  Ronald MacLean passes the ball to Denton Malachy.  Denton Malachy spots a run from Joey Easton.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, but Joey Easton is caught offside!
