Blaze Schauf plays a short pass to Errol Ante.  Errol Ante sees Rüdiger Straut making a run.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, but Rüdiger Straut has strayed offside!

He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Bittan Plasse is able to take the ball.  Bittan Plasse tries to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Tihalt Stoeber gets to the ball first and clears.

27' - Geoff Mehr plays a long ball to Helmut Betke.  Helmut Betke crosses the ball, finding Meier Gerken.  Meier Gerken directs a powerful header towards the top corner...and its in! It's a lovely goal from Meier Gerken for Wattenscheid!  The ball bounced off the post and into the net!

32' - Rüdiger Straut dispossesses Meier Gerken and takes possession.  Rüdiger Straut tries to beat Helmut Betke using his ball skills, but is illegally impeded.    The referee has no hesitation in showing Helmut Betke the yellow card. That will be a freekick for Hildesheim.  

33' - Vemados Carlin prepares to take the freekick.  He sends the ball into the box, but Bittan Plasse gets to the ball and makes a clearance.  

34' - Rüdiger Straut attempts to outskill Waldemar Sandmeier and succeeds, neatly slipping past the opposing player!

42' - Wilfrid Kamel tackles Boell Pieters and gains possession for his team.  Wilfrid Kamel attempts to outskill Boell Pieters, but is brought down.  That will be a freekick for Wattenscheid.  

43' - Wilfrid Kamel will take the freekick.  He sends the ball into the box, but Tihalt Stoeber gets to the ball and makes a clearance.  

45' - Meier Gerken finds Hertz Kampfer with a short pass.  Hertz Kampfer curves the ball into the box, but no one is able to get to the ball.  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

51' - Bittan Plasse takes a shot from distance...but Mayor Kuffel gets down to stop the shot!

61' - Bittan Plasse sees Sigfrid Massmann making a run.  He attempts to play a throughball, but Sigfrid Massmann is caught offside!  

72' - Tihalt Stoeber successfully tackles Waldemar Sandmeier and gains possession for his team.  Hildesheim try to launch a counter attack.  Tihalt Stoeber spots a run from Tihalt Biechler.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, and Tihalt Biechler takes the ball.  Tihalt Biechler fires a shot, aiming for the corner of the net...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  Meier Gerken is first to the ball and makes the clearance.
