Billy MacCarthy sees a run from Michael Greenaway.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Michael Greenaway is able to take the ball.  Michael Greenaway looks to hit the ball past the keeper...but the ball flies wide of the post!

28' - Mel Rattray spots a run from Ron McCaw.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

32' - Inigo McCormack finds Billy MacCarthy with a long pass.  Billy MacCarthy brings the ball forward, attempting to outpace Seth Finnegan, but is brought down.    The referee shows Seth Finnegan the yellow card! That will be a freekick for Barrow.  

36' - Billy MacCarthy sees Michael Greenaway making a run.  He attempts to play a throughball, and Michael Greenaway is able to control the ball.  Michael Greenaway attempts to strike the ball into the corner of the net...but the keeper dives and manages to stop the shot!  

38' - Mel Rattray plays the ball to Rich Hughes.  Rich Hughes sees a run from Alan McQuistion.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Alan McQuistion is able to take the ball.  Alan McQuistion looks to strike the ball into the top of the net...but the shot sails over the bar!

45' - Leo Durie passes to Bob McClintick.  Bob McClintick passes the ball to Max Broach.  Max Broach finds Leo Durie with a long ball.  Leo Durie crosses the ball into the box and finds Alan McQuistion.  Alan McQuistion gets above the defence and heads the ball towards goal...but the shot is parried by Wayne Jones!  Paul Saunders gets to the ball first...Paul Saunders fires a shot towards goal...but its wide!

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

45' - Barrow kick the ball off for the restart.  

52' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Bob McClintick is going to be taken off.  Justin McCalley is brought on from the bench.  

57' - Max Broach passes a long ball to Ian Ivery.  Ian Ivery whips in a cross, finding Paul Saunders.  Paul Saunders attempts to strike the ball into the corner of the net...and its in! It's a wonderful goal from Paul Saunders for Stalybridge!  The ball went in off the upright!

63' - Dave Spencer passes to Peter Gwilym.  Peter Gwilym plays a short pass to Billy MacCarthy.  Thomas Mirrlees tackles Billy MacCarthy and the ball goes loose.
