Rhys Abraham places the ball to take the corner.  He curves the ball into the box, and manages to find Sammy Newell.  Sammy Newell powers a header down towards the bottom corner...but the shot is saved by Robert Lockaby!  

22' - Rhys Abraham plays a long pass to Michael Daly.  Morgan Toshack tackles Michael Daly and takes the ball.  Sammy Newell tackles Morgan Toshack and takes possession.  Atherton launch a counter attack.  Morgan Toshack dispossesses Sammy Newell and the ball goes loose.  Colin Winn plays a short pass to Sammy Newell. 38' - Hamish McRobie plays a short pass to Jamie Hanigan.  Jamie Hanigan hits the ball long to Sammy Newell.  Sammy Newell strikes the ball from long range towards goal...but the shot is saved by Robert Lockaby!  

42' - Robert Lockaby finds Alec Grimaldi with a short pass.  Alec Grimaldi attempts to outskill Jamie Hanigan.  The opposing player is unable to stop Alec Grimaldi who takes the ball forward!  

44' - Alec Grimaldi uses his pace to beat Hamish McRobie.

84' - Clinton Madoc plays a long pass to Mervyn Myles.  Mervyn Myles passes the ball to Rhys Abraham.  Rhys Abraham spots a run from Jim McCloy.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, and Jim McCloy is able to take the ball.  Jim McCloy tries to slide the ball past the keeper...and its in! It's a fine goal from Jim McCloy for Atherton!  The keeper got a touch but it wasn't enough!
