12' - Carlton try to launch a counter attack.  Bruce Groat successfully tackles John Berne and takes possession.  With a turn of pace, Bruce Groat beats John Berne.  

12' - Bruce Groat crosses the ball, but John Berne gets there first and clears the ball.  

17' - Aeron Owen finds Danny Merrick with a short pass.  Danny Merrick sees a run from Gyn Awazie.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, but Gyn Awazie has strayed offside!  

29' - Mark Lewis spots a run from Gyn Awazie.  He attempts a quick throughball, and Gyn Awazie is able to control the ball.  Gyn Awazie shoots, aiming for the corner of the net...but the ball flies wide of the post!

Leon Crosby strikes the ball...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  Russell Meyrick manages to clear the ball for the defending team.

41' - Johnny MacGuinness finds John Elder with a long ball.  John Elder spots a run from Justin Reidhead.  He tries to release him with a throughball, and Justin Reidhead is able to take the ball.  Justin Reidhead looks to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but its wide!

43' - Craig Tripodi finds Gyn Awazie with a long ball.  Gyn Awazie runs with the ball, beating John Berne.  

45' - Gyn Awazie attempts to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...and Gyn Awazie scores!  That's a fine goal from the Pontypool player!  The keeper had no chance!

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

45' - Carlton kick the ball off for the restart.  

49' - Greg McConachie passes to Leeroy Ibeto.  Leeroy Ibeto slides the ball to Greg McConachie.  Greg McConachie hits the ball long to John Elder.  John Elder sees a run from Johnny MacGuinness.  He tries to release him with a throughball, and Johnny MacGuinness takes the ball.  Johnny MacGuinness looks to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the keeper dives and manages to stop the shot!

79' - Carlton attempt to counter.  Gary Winstone sees Johnny MacGuinness making a run.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but the linesman signals for offside!  

82' - Danny Merrick dispossesses Gary Winstone and takes the ball.  Pontypool try to launch a counter attack.  Danny Merrick sees a run from Colin Flamigni.  He attempts to play a throughball, but Colin Flamigni is caught offside!  

91' - The referee blows the whistle for full time.
