He is unable to hold it though...Oliver MacBride is first to the loose ball...Oliver MacBride looks to strike the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is parried by Dan Smilie!  Chris Spade pounces on the loose ball...Chris Spade fires a shot...but the ball flies wide of the post!

42' - Dan Smilie passes the ball to Rob Elder.  Rob Elder hits the ball long to Rob Finnegan.  Rob Finnegan whips in a cross, but opposing player Bryan Russell takes possession.  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

56' - Philip MacMasters looks to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...but the shot is tipped around the post by Dan Smilie!  The linesman flags for a corner for  Newport.  Chris Spade places the ball to take the corner.  He whips the ball into the box, but Aaron Shawn intercepts the ball.  

56' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Rob Elder is going to be taken off.  Chris Blower is brought on from the bench.  

65' - Theo Coughlan slides the ball to Jeremy Prichard.  Jeremy Prichard sees a run from Oliver MacBride.  He tries to release him with a throughball, and Oliver MacBride is able to take the ball.  Oliver MacBride looks to hit the ball past the keeper...but its wide!

71' - Aaron Shawn hits the ball long to Chris Blower.  Chris Blower whips in a cross, but the ball goes over everyone.  

76' - Oliver MacBride sees Chris Spade making a run.  He attempts a long ball over the top, and Chris Spade is able to control the ball.  Chris Spade tries to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but Dan Smilie gets down to stop the shot!  

78' - Dan Smilie finds Rob Finnegan with a long pass.  Rob Finnegan speeds past Anthony Priddy.  

78' - Rob Finnegan crosses the ball, but the ball misses everyone.  

78' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Jeremy Prichard is going to be taken off.  Joe Dempster joins the game from the bench.

91' - Theo Coughlan stands over the ball, preparing to take the freekick.  He floats the ball into the box, and manages to find Oliver MacBride.  Oliver MacBride gets his head to the ball attempting to beat the keeper...but the shot is saved by the keeper!
