35' - Charlie Heatley curls in a cross, but the ball misses everyone.  

38' - Marcus Manuel sees a run from Gus Dipple.  He tries to release him with a throughball, and Gus Dipple takes the ball.  Gus Dipple strikes the ball...but the keeper manages to tip the shot round the post!  The linesman flags for a corner for  Forres Mechanics FC.  Andrew Aitken gets ready to take the corner.  He curves the ball into the box and finds Gus Dipple.  Gus Dipple gets his head to the ball towards the top corner...but the shot sails over the bar!

39' - Gareth Barrett sees Paul Desmond making a run.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Paul Desmond is able to control the ball.  Paul Desmond tries to strike the ball into the corner of the net...but the ball flies wide of the post!

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

48' - Harry Sayer passes to Charlie Heatley.  Charlie Heatley passes the ball to Jamie McCrae.  David MacGeorge dispossesses Jamie McCrae and takes possession.  David MacGeorge spots a run from Arnie McCaig.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, but Arnie McCaig is caught offside!
