Ian MacCarthy runs with the ball, but is brought down illegally by Robert McCleary.    The referee pulls out a card...it's yellow.  He books Robert McCleary.  That will be a freekick for Stranraer FC.  

26' - Fraser Heffernan steps up to take the freekick.  He floats the ball into the box, but David MacArthur intercepts the ball.  

32' - David MacArthur plays a long ball to Robert McCleary.  Robert McCleary plays a short pass to Rob McSorley.  Rob McSorley sees a run from Eric McDonald.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Eric McDonald takes the ball.  Eric McDonald reaches the byline and tries a cutback, but Ronald Fordyce overshoots the ball and it goes loose! Fraser Heffernan hits the ball long to Ian MacCarthy.  Ian MacCarthy attempts to beat Patrick Bhoy using his skills but fails and is dispossessed!  

42' - David MacArthur finds Rob McSorley with a long ball.  Rob McSorley curls in a cross, but Cole Byrne intercepts and takes possession.  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

45' - Montrose kick the ball off for the restart.  

48' - Brian Hamilton sees Ian MacCarthy making a run.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, but the linesman signals for offside!  

53' - Hamish McNeill plays the ball to David MacArthur.  Ian MacCarthy dispossesses David MacArthur and takes possession.  Stranraer FC try to launch a counter attack.  Eric McDonald successfully tackles Ian MacCarthy and the ball goes loose.  Ian MacCarthy tries to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Cole Byrne is first to the loose ball...Cole Byrne shoots, aiming for the corner of the net...but Patrick Noyce deflects the shot out of play.  That will be a corner for  Stranraer FC.  Edward McBeth will take the corner.  He curves the ball into the box, but opposing player Rob McSorley takes possession.  

53' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Denton McNiven is going to be taken off.  Tom MacCunn is going to be brought on.  

54' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Adam Frazer will come off.  Adam McNelly is brought on from the bench.  

58' - Patrick Bhoy slides the ball to Ronald Fordyce.  Ronald Fordyce takes a shot from outside the area, aiming for the corner of the net...and its in! It's a good goal from Ronald Fordyce for Montrose!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but it wasn't enough!

76' - Patrick Bhoy finds Bradley Weir with a short pass.  Bradley Weir passes the ball to David MacArthur.  David MacArthur finds Rob McSorley with a short pass.  Rob McSorley finds Eric McDonald with a short pass.  Fraser Heffernan dispossesses Eric McDonald and takes possession.  Fraser Heffernan attempts to use his skills to beat Bradley Weir and succeeds, neatly slipping past the opposing player!  

76' - Fraser Heffernan looks to unleash a long range shot...and Fraser Heffernan scores!  That's an exquisite goal from the Stranraer FC player!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but couldn't stop the shot!
