He attempts to play a throughball, and Aidan Jones is able to control the ball.  Aidan Jones tries to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is deflected out of play by the keeper!  The linesman signals its a corner for Brechin.  Pat Fraser will take the corner.  He curves the ball into the box, but he only manages to find opposing player Dennis Newell.  

26' - Anton McBane finds Gavin Ewen with a long pass.  Gavin Ewen crosses the ball, finding Hugh McNabb.  Hugh McNabb gets above the defence and directs a header attempting to beat the keeper...but the shot is offtarget!

27' - Neil McQuarrie sees Ian Kennedy making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Ian Kennedy is able to take the ball.  Ian Kennedy reaches the byline and attempts a cutback and the ball reaches Eric Furguson.  Eric Furguson hits the ball, aiming for the top of the net...and its in! It's a nice goal from Eric Furguson for Brechin!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but it wasn't enough!

28' - Formartine United kick the ball off for the restart.  

35' - Brechin try to launch a counter attack.  Peter McNish spots a run from Aidan Jones.  He attempts a long ball over the top, and Aidan Jones takes the ball.  Aidan Jones shoots, aiming for the corner of the net...but the shot goes wide!

40' - Hugh McNabb sees Charlie McOsker making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but Charlie McOsker has strayed offside!  

44' - Pat Fraser passes the ball to Gregor McBain.  Gregor McBain plays a long ball to Aidan Jones.  Aidan Jones attempts to beat Colin Mackall using his skills, but is brought down.    The referee has no hesitation in showing Colin Mackall the yellow card. That will be a freekick for Brechin.  

45' - Pat Fraser places the ball to take the freekick.  He floats the ball into the box, but he only manages to find opposing player Gavin Ewen.
