admin 16/12/2023 at 18:34 Atlético Clube Goianiense I'm thinking of what I would change if I was creating a new version of this game. I don't think I'll have time to do anything for a while, but would like some input. I have a few thoughts to begin with: 1) once you are in the top flight, its too easy to make money without having to think about it. 2) too many high ability players are being generated. this has resulted in lower division clubs being able to pick up young top club rejects for nothing and unrealistically increasing the level of the lower leagues. 3) the non-player clubs redevelop their stadia too early and it means by the time a couple of seasons had generated, new people might join the game and be bemused by teams having much bigger capacity stadiums than in real life. What would you change in a new version of this game?

From my side, i don´t know where to spend all the money: Capital 1,031,398,965 Capital 564,712,844 Capital 1,283,601,841 Way less money and more budgetplanning would be nice. About 2) I think the high ability players are fine at the moment. My only problem is, that the guy who thrown the most money will get always the player. But the youthteams are not really worth at the moment. About 3) probably it makes sense to rebuild the staduim to a lower size or selling their stadiums and getting smaller ones instead. And i would like to have a skill for the players or a team skill "self confidence" that raises and lowers for every win and loss and having an affect on the overall team rating, which could give a reset if you hire a new manager for example.

OwnGoal 18/12/2023 at 12:53 KRC Gent theres an insane amount of top division caliber players getting generated at clubs. my youth side probably has 18 800+ players in it which is completely unrealistic. irl a youth team at top clubs will maybe have 5 players who go on to be professionals and of those 5 maybe 1 who is good enough to stay at the club. its way too easy right now to get an 800 rated squad for free. need a cap on how many scouts you can have as it will make players have to chose carefully on what assignments they pick.

The youth academy must every season (or 2-3) lower one point. 3. The training facility's must lower one point every saeon (or 2-3) 4. The age limit of 24 years must be replacd by the experience of the playerss and teamtactics

I get at most 5 players with 800+. 90% of the players are up to 800. if you have lots more of those players, than admin should check for bugs. even up to 800 is too high. avg squad in belgium pro division is 785. div 2 in germany is 755. the average player coming through a youth system should be around 700 tops. with a 5% roll of them being above 800. that 5% should be diminished if you sign release x amount of players on a yearly cycle

It's not used in any calcs, but is just an average of key stats for the players primary position. I think we generally put too much emphasis on overall instead of individual stats required for a playing style
admin 26/12/2023 at 17:31 Atlético Clube Goianiense Next version will make it far more difficult to get clubs up the divisions. I think a lot of players managed to guide their clubs to the top flights in consecutive seasons which should still be possible but not as easy. There needs to be a wage cap based on the the clubs expected income each season. More focus on what football players want - e.g. want to join a club to win trophies if its not happening at their current club. There should be a more effective chemistry attribute which impacts the players relationship with the coaching staff - clash of personalities etc i could have a separate "loyalty points" type tally which players can use alongside capital to buy a better club, so there will still be progression even if you can't get your lower league club to the top.
