Morning,
Just a quick one - and incredibly minor, just thought you'd want to know) - during our last match (against Juventus on 14/02), two of Napoli's players were listed as Captain on the same team sheet.  Both Edmondo Bellillo (RB) and Colville Butor (ST) had a (C) after their name.
Makes no difference to me, don't mind a lot of leadership, but there's obviously a gremlin somewhere.  Haven't notice that before.
Hope you're well.

Hi mate!

Actually you had three captains...Matri the CB is also listed.

I think this is to do with substitutions.
Your first captain was subbed, and then the replacement captain was also subbed.

Really should only list the original starting captain, but the game can't tell the difference

Haha guess that might be it.  I don't mind at all, we love giving everyone some management experience down here in Napoli.
However not sure it is just subs - in our recent match against Imolese Calcio (06/02) Edmondo Bellillo played the full 90 as captain, but also had two subbed captains assisting him (Matri and Butor again).  So we had maybe three captains on the pitch at once, but Bellillo played the full 90.
But as I say, doesn't matter - we pass the captain's armband around like the prizes at a kid's birthday party on my teams. It's the least special appointment possible.
Thanks for the reply.

Nah Bellillo didn't start as captain.

The player with best leadership is chosen as captain automatically.  So Matri is your main captain.  then he gets a bit tired is subbed off and passes the armband to the next highest leadership who is Butor.  the weight of captaincy takes his toll and by the 84th min he has to go off as well and passes the armband to the ever reliable Bellillo.

Haha got it, thank you.  I run a democratic crew.  It means that noone has much respect for the armband, but at least everyone gets a go.  Bellillo is my big man at the back, a man for all seasons in terms of reliably holding the team together.  We can't fail to clinch a top #18 league finish with him being captain for at least a few minutes of each match.
