No warnings were being sent when a coach's contract was nearing expiry. You should now get warnings 6 and 3 months before the contract expires instead of them just leaving without notice

The manager for my team, Canet, just left with no warning. I've found a replacement and offered him the job, but obviously it takes a few days for them to accept. Does that mean my team is at a disadvantage in any matches they play while I don't have a manager?

It just means your head coach takes over manager responsibilities for any match in that time. So it depends what your head coach is like. There is no additional penalty in matches, but I think there is a slight penalty in training calcs while you only have one of the two roles filled. I've only just corrected this bug a few days ago so if any staff already have less than 3 months on their contract there won't be any warning unfortunately
